Intern – Advocacy and Communications
The growing distress experienced by a significant portion of today’s youth is one of the greatest injustices of our time. While many consider young people to be a societal problem, they should instead be recognised as our greatest asset.
Fondation Apprentis d'Auteuil International (FAAI) is a Swiss charitable foundation established in 2013. It is committed to the protection of children’s rights, education, and the social and professional inclusion of vulnerable youth, as well as support for families, working in partnership with local actors who share the same ambition. Together with its local partners, FAAI advocates for children’s rights before UN institutions, with a particular focus on children in street situations.
In Switzerland, the FAAI supports young people who have dropped out of school through a vocational training programme within its integration restaurant, The Birdhouse.
The intern will report to the Advocacy and Communications Officer and work closely with the rest of the Geneva-based team, as well as with the Paris team remotely.
